Tautoko Tāne Aotearoa (TTA) operates as a federation of member Organisation that are bound together by a shared purpose [“enabling the wellbeing of male survivors of sexual violence”] and a Membership Agreement that describes the agreed obligations responsibilities and accountabilities that attach to membership. TTA provides national advocacy (for TMO and survivors), national policies, practice framework and standards and service quality assurance processes. TMO’s provide the survivor support services within their designated region of Aotearoa.

  • Embrace peer support (PPSA) as a primary support service for male survivors (alongside other approved support services)
  • Participate in TTA PPSA and related education and training programs
  • Comply with TTA national policies and guidelines and participate in national quality assurance programs
  • Operate an appropriate case management system to record and report on survivor support services
  • Provide quarterly reporting on operational outcomes
  • Commitment to always act in alliance with TTA and in the best interest of survivors
